James I. Hines

James I. Hines, 65, of Oak Harbor, OH, died Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at his residence. He was born in Somerset, KY on January 12, 1941 to James G. & Louisa (Watson) Hines. Jim was a Plant Supervisor for Marsulex in Oregon, OH for many years. He was an avid golfer and was a member of the Oak Harbor Golf Club. On April 27, 1962, he married the former Marlene A. Roudebush, and she survives. Also surviving is his mother, Louisa Hines Hoffmier, Lawrenceburg, IN; his sons: Ronald A. (Sue) Hines of Oak Harbor, Victor G. (Pam) Hines of Fremont, OH, Thomas W. (Chrissy) Hines, of Oak Harbor, his daughter, Holly (Bill) Dufendock of Genoa, OH; sisters, Sue (Dave) Helton, Somerset, KY, and Judy Rasner, Rising Sun, IN; sister-in-law, Barb Hines, Winchester, IN; 8 grandchildren, and 3 step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father; his stepfather, William Hoffmier, and a brother, Richard Hines. The family will receive friends from 2-8 P.M. Friday at the Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor, where the family will be present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home, Interment will be in Roose Cemetery, Salem Township. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the American Cancer Society.
