James H. Peters

James H. Peters, 75, of Key Colony Beach, FL and Marblehead, OH passed away at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, OH on August 19, 2018. He was born August 22, 1942 in Cleveland, OH the son of James H. and Mary Sue (Rooney) Peters, Sr. On November 13, 1971 he married Linda Overly and she survives. Jim grew up in Cleveland and graduated from John Marshall High School at which time he entered the United States Navy. Jim was the proprietor of Mole Agency, an insurance agency in Grafton, OH for many years. Jim and Linda have resided in Key Colony Beach, FL for the last 18 years, returning to Marblehead each summer. His passions were fishing, hunting, boating and traveling with his wife. He will be remembered and missed by his family and many friends he nurtured over the years. Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Linda; brother-in-law Gary F. (Debbie) Overly of Pinehurst, NC; nephew Michael Peters of Los Angeles, CA; and many cousins in the Cleveland area. He was preceded in death by his father, James H. Peters, Sr.; mother, Mary Sue Peters and brother Michael Peters. Memorial services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, August 31, 2018 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd. Lakeside-Marblehead, OH. Fr.
