James Ellsworth Howell

James Ellsworth Howell, 77, of Lakeside, died Wednesday February 17, 2010 at his residence. He was born August 14, 1932 in Fostoria, the son of Ellsworth C. and Pauline G. (Link) Howell. On April 12, 1958, he married Eileen Lemmerman and she survives. Jim was a businessman in the area and formerly owned the Montgomery Ward Franchise in Port Clinton. He was a very active member of Lakeside United Methodist Church. Jim is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and a sister. Graveside services will be conducted at 1 pm Friday at the Fountain Cemetery in Fostoria. The Rev. Jerry Phelps will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lakeside United Methodist Church Endowment Fund. The Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel has assisted the family with arrangements.
