James E. Swift Sr.

James E. Swift, Sr., 92 of Oak Harbor, OH died Monday, June 21, 2021 at Parkview Care Center in Fremont, OH. He was born March 25, 1929 in Nemacolin, PA to the late Sanford Swift and Leota (Whetzel). He married the former Nancy Bacon in March of 1976 and she preceded him in death July 23, 2015. Jim worked for Standard Products and Cooper Tire, in Port Clinton, OH. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #2295 and V.F.W. Post #2480 both of Port Clinton. Survivors include his children: Randy Swift of Whittier, NC, and Kimberly Taylor of Oak Harbor, OH; grandchildren: Leigh Ann (Dan) Martinez, Jennifer (Mark) Mohacsek, Mikayla Taylor, Kaitlyn, Cole, and Austin Thorn; great- grandchildren: Raven & Dominic Martinez and Max & Mya Mohacsek; and brother Leonard Swift. He was also preceded in death by a step-mother Goldie Swift, son Mark Swift, and 10 siblings. There will be no services at this time. Local Arrangements are being handled by the Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor. Memorial Contributions may be given to a charity of the Donor’s Choice.
