James D. Marshall

James D. Marshall, 77, of Port Clinton, Ohio died Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center, Port Clinton. He was born on August 24, 1929, in Churchill, Tennessee, the son of the late Gilbert & Mary (Smith) Marshall. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Korean War. He was a laborer at Uniroyal in Port Clinton until his retirement. Survivors include his son: Larry (Marie) Marshall, Port Clinton; daughters: Glenda (Ralph) Harris, Lakeside, Ohio; & Debbie Piper; Two Grandchildren: Sunshine and Misty Marshall; Six Great-Grandchildren; and a sister: Virginia (Norman) Taylor, Port Clinton. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Francis and Charles Marshall, and an infant sister: Rosella Marshall. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 2, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton where funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 3, with Reverend Rusty Yost officiating. Burial will follow in Sackett Cemetery, Danbury Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, or to Stein Hospice.
