James Baumgartner

James Baumgartner, 63, of Oak Harbor, OH died Thursday, September 28, 2006 at Riverview Health Care Campus-Cottage Cove after a long illness. He was born April 26, 1943 in Port Clinton, the son of the late Leo and Kathryn (Nietfeld) Baumgartner. He married Ruth Gaeth on Nov. 26, 1960 and she survives. He was retired from Brush Wellman after working there for 30 years. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Oak Harbor. Surviving are his wife: Ruth; daughter: Cheryl (Dan Fry) Baumgartner of Fremont; sons: Greg (Kelly Bisnette) Baumgartner of Fremont, John Baumgartner of Oak Harbor; brother: Joseph (Else) Baumgartner of Oak Harbor; sisters: Elizabeth (Jim) Douglas, Judy Franck, Kathy (Steve) Gordon, Pat (Terry) Shanteau, Mary Wilson all of Oak Harbor; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother: Jack Baumgartner. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father James Peiffer 10:30 am Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Oak Harbor. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be given to Riverview Health Care Campus—Cottage Cove, Heartland Hospice or the Jack Baumgartner Scholarship Fund.
