Jacob J. Brown

Jacob J. Brown, 86, of Elliston, Ohio, died Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at the Genoa Care Center, Genoa, Ohio. He was born in Akron, Ohio on March5, 1925, a son of George & Katherine (Devie) Brown. Mr. Brown was employed by Ford Motor Company for over 30 years, and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the South Pacific. He enjoyed playing cards, fishing, golfing, and caring for his cat, Skipper. In June of 1951, he married the former Betty L. Beshalske, and she preceded him in death on June 11, 2009. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, June 3, 2011 at Elliston Cemetery, Elliston, Ohio.
