Jack G. Taylor, 79 of 419 East 11th Street, Port Clinton, died peacefully in his home after suffering from complications resulting from heart failure. Jack was born in Cleveland, Ohio to James and Mary (Alley) Taylor on August 2, 1926 and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where he was active in organizing the Youth Fellowship with his late wife, Patricia. He was a veteran of WWII. He was an avid genealogist, and a member of the Sons of the American Revolution. He leaves behind years of dedicated genealogical research. He spent most of his professional career as an engineering technician for NASA at the Plumbrook Station in Sandusky, OH. Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia, and his three younger brothers. He is survived by his two daughters, Julie Taylor Pantziris of Toronto, Ontario and Laurie Taylor, PhD. of Wisconsin. He is also survived by his two grandchildren Taki and Jack, ages 13 and 9. Our love and special thanks go to his loyal friend and neighbor Mr. Russell Priddy. Services will be at 12 noon on Saturday March 25th at the Neidecker, LeVeck and Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 East Harbor Road, Lakeside-Marblehead, OH. Interment will follow at Sackett Cemetery, Danbury Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Memorial Hospital, 430 South Main Street, Clyde, Ohio, who provided our father comfortable and fulfilling support and care.
