Jack E. Peters

Jack E. Peters, 87, of Marblehead, OH passed away Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Ebeid Hospice, Sylvania, OH. He was born October 13, 1934 in Toledo, OH the son of Ellsworth and Ruth (Squire) Peters. Jack was a 1952 graduate of Danbury High School. He married Donna Hollinger on July 16, 1955 and she preceded him in death on Nov. 19, 1996. Jack was a brick mason and retired from Local 46 in Fremont, OH. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Danbury where he enjoyed playing dart ball. He regularly attended the Danbury Senior Center and enjoyed camping and flying his radio-controlled airplane.

Surviving are his companion: Elaine Mackey of Marblehead; daughters: Renee Diebert of Sandusky, Beth (Charles) DeLuca of Port Clinton, Kristy Savage of Port Clinton; grandchildren: Seth Rahm of Columbus, Dustin (Kayleigh) DeLuca of Morengo, OH, Tyler Savage of Sandusky, Logan Savage of Huron; great-grandchildren: Gemma DeLuca and Dominic DeLuca; brother: Robert (Susan) Peters of Escobedo, CA; sisters: Janet (Jerry) Duncan of Marblehead, Jo Ellen Peters of Marblehead, Pamela Williams of Marblehead. He was preceded in death his parents; step-mother: Betty Jo Haselmire; wife: Donna; brother: Fred Peters and sister: Katherine Warren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2022 from 1:00 – 3:00 and 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd. Lakeside-Marblehead, OH where funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm Wednesday evening. Private family interment services at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery will be conducted at a later date. The family suggests memorial contributions may be given to Danbury Senior Center, 8470 E. Harbor Rd. Lakeside-Marblehead, OH of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Danbury, 541 Church Rd. Lakeside-Marblehead, OH. Anyone wishing to still give Jack a birthday card is encouraged to bring the card to the funeral home to share with the family.
