Ivy Sorrell

Ivy E. Sorrell, 93, of Port Clinton, died Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center, Port Clinton, OH. She was born August 8, 1922 in Solihull, England, the daughter of Joseph and Sabina (Howe) Beech. She married Harold R. Sorrell in 1944 and he preceded her in death in 1972. Mrs. Sorrell worked as a riveter during World War II. Surviving are her daughter: Teena (Roy) Walters of Anderson, IN; granddaughter: Kimlyn Queen of Delaware; grandson: Ryan Queen; brother: Frank Beech of England. She was preceded in death by her husband: Harold; son: Joseph Sorrell, daughter-in-law: Kaye Sorrell, brothers: Harry Beech, Joseph Beech and sister: Sabina Barnard. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 17, 2015 from 2:00 6:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH where funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 pm Thursday. Interment will be in Ridgewood Cemetery, Wellston, OH. Memorial contributions may be given to The American Cancer Society or Edgewood Manor Nursing Center, Port Clinton, OH.
