Ivalene F. Mcclory

Ivalene F. McClory, 72, of Elmore, OH, and formerly of Safety Harbor, FL died Saturday July 1, 2006 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born in Fremont, OH to Marjorie (Mason) and Wesley Berger. She married Elverne McClory on April 24, 1957. Ivy was active in both the V.F.W. Aux. and the American Legion Aux. in Port Clinton and Safety Harbor. She worked in housekeeping at the Safety Harbor Spa before her retirement. She was an avid bowler in both Ohio and Florida. She is survived by her daughters: Sharon (Frank) Smith of Clyde, OH, Janice (Gordon) Brugman of Siverville, TN, sisters: Ellen Dymond of Greensprings, OH and Vicky (Dale) Wahlers of Rocky Ridge, OH, brothers: Richard (Colleen) Berger of Lugoff, SC, Harry (Cheryl) Myers of Port Clinton, six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Her husband, parents and brother Wayne Berger preceded her in death along with her beloved dog Honey. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, July 15, 2006 at Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH with Pastor Keith Baker of St. John Lutheran Church, Rocky Ridge, OH, officiating. V.F.W. Post 2480 Ladies Auxiliary will also be conducting memorial services at the gravesite. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
