Irvin I. "Irv" Jameson, 92, of Port Clinton, OH died Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Otterbein North Shore Retirement Village, Lakeside, OH. He was born December 6, 1923 in Hancock Co. Ohio the son of the late Ira and Edna (Ellinwood) Jameson. He married Donna Peters on May 3, 1952 and she survives. Irv was a carpenter and he enjoyed fixing and building things. Mr. Jameson was a Marine Corp Veteran serving in World War II. While serving his country in Iwo Jima he received a purple heart. Surviving are his wife: Donna; children: Larry Jameson of Glen Rose, TX, Debra (Douglas) Eulberg of Beavercreek, OH, Rex (Rita) Jameson of Highland, IN; grandchildren: Kellie (Paul) Bundschuh, Lori Jameson, Benjamin Jameson, Christin (Christopher) Gordon; great-grandchildren: Bailey Drossman, Andrew Bundschuh and brother: Raymond (Mary) Jameson of Findlay, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and four sisters. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH where visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Interment services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Saturday at Union Cemetery, Big Lick Twp. West Independence, OH. Pastor Kurt Borows will be officiating.
