Irene S. Sheerer

Irene S. Sheerer, 100, of Catawba Island, died Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center, Port Clinton, OH. She was born March 1, 1906, the daughter of the late Albert and Daisy Marshall. She married Weldon F. Sheerer who preceded her in death on July 11, 1987. Mrs. Sheerer was a stenographer for various organizations. She was a life member of Harlequin’s Sandusky’s Community Theater and Dorcas Society. Surviving are her nieces: Andrina Marshall of SanDiego, CA, Phylissa Marshall of Temple, TX, Sharita Neal of Kempner, TX; great nieces Lara Marshall, Brittni Neal; great nephews Cody Neal. She was preceded in death by her husband and twin infant daughters. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday, April 1, 2006 at Catawba Island Cemetery with the Rev. Kurt Borows officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are being handled by Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton, Ohio.
