Irene S. Lukac

Irene S. Lukac, 91, of Sandusky and formerly of Port Clinton died Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Stein Hospice, Sandusky, OH. She was born Feb. 4, 1922 in Toledo, OH the daughter of John and Erma (Benda) Legeza. She married Joseph P. Lukac on June 4, 1947 and he preceded her in death on Jan. 26, 1987. Mrs. Lukac retired from Port Clinton City Schools. Surviving are her daughter: Jane (Gary) Toll of Sandusky; son: Joseph J. (Rocklynn) Lukac of Newburgh, IN; grandchildren: Sadie M. Lukac of Murfreesboro, TN, Paul Lukac of Evansville, IN; great-grandchildren: Castiel Lukac. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters: Erma Brandelean, Pearl Podurski, Mary Armstrong, Mary Legeza and brother: John Legeza. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 17, 2013 from 5:00 8:00 pm with family prayer services at 8:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton, OH. Graveside services will be conducted 10:30 am Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH.
