Irene Ruggles-Ferguson

Irene Ruggles-Ferguson, 92, of Port Clinton, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, May 21, 2012 surrounded by her family. She was born August 23, 1919 in West Virginia, the daughter of Oliver and Isabel (Stanley) McClellan. She married Charles Ruggles and later married Edmund Ferguson on April 4, 1983 and he preceded her in death on July 30, 2007. She was a member of Brush Arbor Church, Gypsum. She enjoyed spending time with her family and gardening. Surviving are her sons: Joie (Bev) Ruggles of Palm Coast, FL, Raymond (Denise) Ruggles of Newport, TN, Gerald (Florence) Ruggles of Ironton, OH, Randy (Lynne) Ruggles of Port Clinton; daughter: Dorene Lynd-Foxx of Port Clinton; 23 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; sister: Hazel Salyers of Port Clinton. She was preceded in death by her husbands; son: Lonnie Fry; grandson: Lonnie Ray Fry; great-granddaughter: Madison Ruggles; brothers: William Runyon and James McClellan. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton where visitation will be held Wednesday from 6:00 8:00 pm.
