Irene M. Kosa, 100, of Marblehead, Ohio died Monday, October 27, 2008 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton. She was born on April 19, 1908 in Danbury Township, the daughter of the late Harmon and Elsie (Bredehoft) Miller. On April 18, 1936 she married John M. Kosa and he preceded her in death on May 20, 1966. Irene was a homemaker, former member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Danbury Township, and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren as they participated in sports at Danbury High School. At the age of 90, she became an avid Cleveland Indians fan as she could name all the players on the team. She also enjoyed watching Lawrence Welk. Survivors include her daughter: Janet (Ed) Bahnsen, and son: John (Valerie) Kosa, of Marblehead, Ohio; grandchildren: Jeff (Rachel) Bahnsen, Pam (Mike) Hallier, John M. Kosa, Stefi Kosa; great grandchildren: Lauren, Heather, Brandon Bahnsen, Michael Hallier; and great-great-granddaughter: Brilynne Sloan. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister: Bernice Eberly and brother: Randall Miller. At Irene's request, cremation has taken place. Memorial graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Marblehead, OH with Reverend Daniel J. Ring, officiating.
