Irene A. Wuersig

Irene A. Wuersig, 79, of Port Clinton, OH died Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center, Port Clinton. She was born on December 13, 1928, in Bremen, Germany, the daughter of the late Karl A. and Frieda Marie Luise (Klvek) Fallet. On September 6, 1947, she married Alfred Wuersig and he preceded her in death on May 6, 1986. Irene was a homemaker, and attended St. John Lutheran Church, Port Clinton. Survivors include her sons, Helmut (Lupe) Wuersig, of Catawba Island and Alfred (Cindy) Wuersig, of Bellevue, OH; grandchildren, William (Cathy) Wuersig, Robert (Jennifer) Wuersig, Deborah (Tom) Summanen, Jay (Jennifer) Wuersig; Seven great-grandchildren; and brother, Ernest A. (Hanne) Fallet, Bremen, Germany. There will be no visitation or services. Memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, Ohio 44870.
