Henry G. “Archie” Klingensmith, 87, of Lakeside-Marblehead, OH passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, OH. He was born October 6, 1933 in Harrison City, PA the son of George and Elvie (Allwine) Klingensmith. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran serving in the Korean War. He married Madeline B. Brailey on March 28, 1980 and she preceded him in death on May 31, 2018. Archie retired from Bell Telephone of Latrobe, PA where he was a PBX Repairman and Installer. He was a member of First United Church of Christ in Marblehead and Marblehead Peninsula Lions Club. Surviving are his daughters: Kathryn Nevling (Christopher) of Greensburg, PA, Donna Misak (Michael) of Lower Burrell, PA; three grandchildren: Geoffrey Nevling (Erica) of Lakeside, CA, Jennifer Osborne (Scott) of San Diego, CA, Nadine Virag (Steve) of Lower Burrell, PA; 10 great-grandchildren: Nickolas & Connor Virag, Ethan Simley Jr, Emery & Kaydance Osborne, Avery, Kennedy, Van, Gage & Rener Nevling. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; brothers: Robert Allwine, Russell Klingensmith and sister: Pearl King. A Memorial Services will be conducted at a later date. Burial will follow at Sackett Cemetery, Danbury Township. Memorial contributions may be given to Ohio Veterans Home and Stein Hospice.
