Helen Margaret Lynch

Helen Margaret (Verock) Lynch, 93, of Marblehead, Ohio went to be with her Lord, her husband of 57 years, David (2002), her daughter Rita Ann (2003), and her infant son, Ronald (1948). Helen was born April 20, 1919 in Marblehead, daughter of John and Anna (Pazin) Verock. Predeceasing her were two infant sisters, and sisters Mary, Anna, Veronica, and Rosella, and brothers John, Joseph, Andrew and Peter. Surviving Helen are children Russell, Rosalyn and Raymond, grandsons David, Patrick and Shawn, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Helen was Ottawa County Deputy Auditor from 1937 until 1945 when she married David Lynch. She served on the Tri-County Board of Mental Health for several years, as well as the Auxiliary Board of Riverview Nursing Home. She was an active member of St. Joseph Church Altar and Rosary Society for decades, as well as an active participant in evangelism, spiritual growth and Divine Scripture studies. During her life, Helen cherished a heartfelt desire to bring the compassion and love of Jesus Christ to others, including the elderly, the sick, the lonely, and the disabled. Helen loved her flowers and gardening at her home on Lake Erie. She cherished and enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Heartfelt gratitude is expressed by the Lynch family to her daughter-in-law & LPN, Mary, for her loving care of Helen during the last three years. Visitation will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 Barclay Street, Marblehead, Ohio on Saturday, November 3, 2012 from 10-11:30am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am with Father Daniel J. Ring officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Marblehead. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heartbeat of Ottawa County.
