Helen Gdovicak

Helen T. Gdovicak, 87, of Marblehead, OH died Jan. 28, 2014 at Ames Family Hospice House, Westlake, OH. She was born Sept. 20, 1926 in Akron, OH the daughter of John and Mary (Meholik) Taray. She married Joseph Gdovicak on May 29, 1948 and he preceded her in death on Mar. 11, 2003. Mrs. Gdovicak was a homemaker and enjoyed growing flowers in her garden. Surviving are her daughters: Christine (Daryl) Hannes of Aurora, OH, Catherine (William) Mueller of North Ridgeville, OH; son: Rick Gdovicak of Glen Haven, CO; grandchildren: Michael Mueller, Jennifer Mueller, Jason Gdovicak, Nicholas Hannes, Stephen Hannes; brothers: Michael (Sarah) Taray of Doylestown, OH and Thomas (Marlene) Taray of Doylestown, OH. She was preceded in death by her brothers: John, Paul and Joe and sister: Ann. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Dan Ring at 10:00 am Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead, OH where visitation will be held Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of the mass. Additional visitation will be held Friday from 2:00 4:00 and 6:00 8:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel, LakesideMarblehead, OH. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Marblehead, OH. Memorial contributions may be given to Glen Haven Area Vol. Fire Department, C/O Glen Haven Flood Recovery Effort, P. O.
