Harold G. Smith

Harold G. Smith, 79, of Ashland, OH passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Otterbein Senior Living, Lakeside, OH. He was born October 6, 1941 in Ashland, OH the son of Carl and Pauline (Warner) Smith. He married Patricia Shenberger on November 23, 1962. Harold was a machinist for F. E. Myers of Ashland retiring in 2006. “Spooly” was a member of Ashland Elks Lodge 1360; Ashland Eagles Aerie #2178; he enjoyed attending car shows with his 1972 Chevy Pickup Truck and attending car shows and auctions in Florida. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes Fan. Surviving are his wife: Patricia; son: Chip (Kally Brownfield) Smith of Marblehead; grandson: Wyatt Smith; sisters: Rose (Bill) Arter of Ashland, Donna Yerian of Ashland; brother: Ralph Smith of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Barb Briener, Sharon Gibbs, Connie Bon; brothers: Charles Smith, Lester Smith and Will Smith. There will be no services.
