Harold B. Hopfinger

Harold B. Hopfinger, 89, of Port Clinton, OH died Sunday, August 6, 2006 at Riverview Health Care Campus, Oak Harbor, OH. Mr. Hopfinger was born Feb. 9, 1917 in Port Clinton the son of the late Leo & Mary (Gerner) Hopfinger. He married Ivabelle Fehr and she preceded him in death on October 12, 2005. Mr. Hopfinger was a retired farmer and commercial fisherman. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, and Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1610, Port Clinton, OH. He is survived by his daughter, Alice (Carl) Kolhoff of Port Clinton; son: Herbert (Gail) Hopfinger of Wyoming, MI; grandchildren: Jim (Kelly) Kolhoff of Port Clinton, Jean (Read) Carlan of Park City, Utah, Michelle (Tim) Ohm of Groveport, OH, Shelly (Marty) Lenger of Wyoming, MI, Beth (Rodney) Pentoney of Greenville, MI; three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 10, 2006 at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton, where the family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. and Thursday morning from 10:00 until the time of the service. Entombment will be in the Lakeview Cemetery Mausoleum, Port Clinton. Memorial contributions may be given to Heartland Home Health & Hospice, Tiffin, OH.
