Gregory Martin Shepherd, 50 of Oak Harbor, OH died unexpectedly Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. He was born July 21, 1971 in Tiffin, OH to Wendell and Ruth Elaine (Swift) Shepherd. He was a 1989 graduate of Temple Christian Academy and received his B.S. in Math & Computer Science from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 1993. On March 27, 2004 he married the former Amy (Imhoff) Crock and she survives. Greg was currently employed at MCO-ECN, Columbus, OH as a Senior Lead Software Developer. He was a member of Shoreline Church, Oak Harbor where he enjoyed serving in the Children’s Ministry and the Men’s Group. He also enjoyed playing video games, watching Sy-Fy movies and listening to music. Survivors include his wife Amy of Oak Harbor; step-sons: Joshua (Ashley) Crock of Bellevue, OH and Andrew Crock of Galion, OH; parents Wendell and Elaine Shepherd of Bare Foot Bay, FL and brother Phillip (Jolynn) Shepherd of Florida. Visitation will be from 5 – 8pm Friday, September 10, 2021 at Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 301 N. Locust St., Oak Harbor, OH 43449. Additional visitation will be Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 10-11am with A Celebration of Life Service to begin at 11am with Pastor Bill Blue officiating.
