Grace E. Ohm

Grace E Ohm, 87, of Port Clinton, died Tuesday October 20, 2009 at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky. She was born January 8, 1922 in Gibsonburg, the daughter of Clarence and Cecile (Yeasting) Shoemaker. On June 17, 1944 she married Howard P. Ohm and he preceded her in death on April 12, 1994. Grace was a homemaker and a member of St. John Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Mother of Twins Club and the Priscilla Circle of the Church. Surviving are her son Keith (Karen) Ohm of Catawba Island; twin daughters Marcia (David) Bloom of Port Clinton and Martha Tanicala of Toledo; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Grace was preceded in death by her husband Howard, her parents and a sister Viola Helle. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Thursday at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton and from 10 am Friday until services at 11 at St. John Lutheran Church, 207 Adams Street. The Reverend James Lehman will officiate. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bell Choir of St John Lutheran Church.
