Goldie Garnet Snyder, 78, of Elmore, Ohio, died Saturday, December 26, 2009 at Genoa Retirement Village, Genoa, Ohio. She was born in Vanceburg, KY on September 7, 1931, the daughter of Benjamin F. & Eva J. (Scott) Smith. Garnet was a cook at the Portage Inn in Elmore for many years, and was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Genoa. She married Kenneth Snyder on April 4, 1965, and her preceded her in death. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December 31, 2009 at Arcadia Cemetery, Arcadia, Ohio.
