Glenda M. Geldien, 70, of Elmore, Ohio, died at 12:20 P.M. Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Mercy St. Charles Hospital, Oregon, Ohio. Glenda was born in Corinth, Mississippi on August 2, 1943 to the late Ozro & Bessie (Berryman) Carter. She was a homemaker and a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Elmore. Glenda was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who greatly enjoyed caring for her grandchildren and attending their school functions. She married Lowell L. (Skip) Geldien in April of 1963, and he survives. Also surviving are her children, Rennia (David) Pence, Tiffin, Ohio, Sherry (David) Hower, Elmore, Lance (Jenny) Geldien, Elmore; grandchildren, James "Mick" (Allyson)Schnabel, Cody Schnabel, Trey Schnabel, Max Geldien, Madison Geldien, Lauren Saionzkowski, Rachel Saionzkowski, and a great-grandchild, Easton Schnabel. Also surviving are her siblings, Bernice Maynard, Elmore, Paul Carter, Michigan City, Indiana, and Bob Carter, Rensselaer, Indiana. Glenda was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Lyndel "Buddy" Carter. Glenda's family will receive friends from 2-8 P.M. Friday at Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elmore-Genoa Chapel, 19550 West State Route 51, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday. Pastor Denise Russell will officiate, and interment will be in Harris-Elmore Union Cemetery, Elmore.
