Gladys M. Blausey

Gladys M. Blausey, 82 of Elmore, OH died Friday, May 06, 2011 at her home. She was born June 2, 1928 in Gibsonburg, OH to the late Roy and Edna (Metzger) Seem. She was a 1947 graduate of Gibsonburg High School. On November 8, 1947 she married Emery A. "Bud" Blausey who preceded her in death December 26, 2006. Gladys was a homemaker and a member of Bethel United Brethren Church, Elmore and Elmore's Civic Mother's Club. Survivors include her children Richard Blausey and Sharon (Tom) Elder both of Elmore; grandchildren: Traci (Craig) Tomor, Mike Elder, Laura Elder, Kristy (Matt) Kohlman & Paul (Tamara) Blausey; great- grandchildren: Kyle & Tate Tomor, Sarah & Callie Elder, Drake Blausey, Alyssa & Austin Kohlman; brother Harley Seem; and Lola (Rev. K. Bernell) Boehm. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, brothers Paul and Robert Seem; sisters Helen (Ken) Fausey and Joyce (Don) Wagner. Visitation will be Monday from 4-8pm at the Crosser Funeral Home, Elmore- Genoa Chapel. Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 11am at Bethel United Brethren Church, Elmore. Burial will be in Harris- Elmore Union Cemetery, Elmore, OH. Memorial Contributions may be made to either Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Bethel United Brethren Church.
