Gilbert Lee Hatmaker

Gilbert L. Hatmaker, 84, of Port Clinton died Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, OH. He was born Jan. 26, 1934 in Smokey Junction, TN the son of Charles and Tempia (Keethley) Hatmaker. Mr. Hatmaker was a veteran of the United States Navy. He retired from Standard Products, Port Clinton and then was the maintenance man at The Fountains. Surviving are his wife and companion: Carolyn Hatmaker; sons: Anthony Hatmaker of North Ridgeville, OH, James (Krista) Hatmaker, Sr. of Norwalk; grandchildren: James Hatmaker, Jr., Shalynn Hatmaker, Hallee Hatmaker and Kate Morrow; several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters: Marlena Hickman, Lavada Ferrell, Mildred Hitchcock, Christine Martin, infant-Shirley Hatmaker and brother: Eugene Hatmaker. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH where visitation will be held Friday from 4:00 - 7:00 pm. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Rev Deron Foreman will be officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to the donors choice.
