Gaydelle Avery Hornyak

Gaydelle Avery (Garnsey) Hornyak, 89, of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away January 7, 2025. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on February 24, 1935 to Dale and Ferne Garnsey. She was a proud graduate of Waite High School. She was married to John Hornyak, her true love, on May 25, 1955 until his death April 28, 2007. Gay is survived by her children: Darla Hornyak of Maumee, Richard (Dawn) Hornyak of Toledo, Todd (Lisa) Hornyak of Genoa; grandsons: Casey, Michael and Cory; great-grandchildren: Landon, Garrett and Giana.

As she wished there will be no visitation or services. The family wishes to thank Heartland Hospice Care and Genoa Retirement Village for their care and kindness.
