Gary E. Bowling, 66, of Marblehead, OH died Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, OH. He was born July 25, 1950 in Huntington, WV, the son of Edward Creigh and Dorothy (Boothe) Bowling. Gary grew up in Ironton, OH before moving to Port Clinton, OH. He was a truck driver and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving are his son: Zach (Wendy) Bowling of Marblehead; daughter: Maggie Bowling of Jacksonville, NC; grandchildren: Avrey Bowling, Missouri Treadwell; step-grandchildren: Alex and Allisa Ritterbach; brother: Daryl (Marilyn) Bowling of South Carolina; sisters: Joy (Bob) Moss of North Carolina, Dana (Tim) Hughes of North Carolina and former wife: Jane Bowling of Port Clinton. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter: Amanda Bowling. There will be no local services. Graveside services will take place at a later date in Huntington, WV.
