Gary B. Rahm

Gary B. Rahm, of Port Clinton (Catawba Island), Ohio passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at his home. He was born August 20, 1966 in Port Clinton, the son of Earl D. Rahm, Sr. and Ruby V. (Rahm) Knecht. Gary lived on Catawba Island all of his life and had established his own transmission and auto repair business. He worked for his brother, Earl, owner of Transall Transmissions for many years before going into his own business. He loved tinkering with his Chevy hot rods. He will be greatly missed by his friend, Jewel, many other close neighbors and friends and his constant companion, Buddy his dog. Those left to cherish his memories are: brothers, Robert A. Rahm (Pam), Port Clinton, Rick Rahm (Lois Collins), Oak Harbor; sisters, Deborah Rudolph (Steve), Iowa, Cindy Geissman (Gary), North Carolina; sister-in-law, Eva Rahm, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl D. Rahm, Sr., mother, Ruby V. (Rahm) Knecht, and brother, Earl D. Rahm, Jr. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 4-7pm at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton, Ohio. Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 10 am at Riverview Cemetery with the Reverend Dr. James Lehman officiating.
