Gary A. Kazimir

Gary A. Kazimir of Lakeside Marblehead, Ohio was born on July 12, 1947. At the age of 75, Gary passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. Beloved husband of Donna for 52 years. Brother-in-law to Nancy Kazimir and Janet Gates. Cherished uncle of Christine (Ron) Andexler, Kelly (Mike) Andexler, Joe Loucek, Sheri (Christopher) Stafford, Janice Kazimir, Jennifer Heisler and Tyler Gates. Grand uncle to many. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Alice Kazimir, brother, George Kazimir, and sister, Patricia Loucek. He will be missed by many.

Gary was a proud veteran of the US Navy, a mechanical engineer, and retired from the Defense Finance Accounting Service (DFAS). He was an educated man with common sense and street smarts. He had the ability to fix anything and enjoyed fishing, cars, and a good beer.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 10, 2023 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd. Lakeside-Marblehead, OH where funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Tuesday, July 11, 2023 in the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sackett Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions to the Disabled American Veterans (dav.org) or Quilts of Valor Foundation (www.qovf.org) in Gary’s memory.
