Freda A. Kuhlman

Freda A. (Peterson) Kuhlman, 96 of Elmore, OH died Sunday, June 30, 2013 at her home. She was born April 6, 1917 in Galata, Montana to the late Nels K. and Hattie (Johnson) Peterson. She was a graduate of Bigfork High School, Bigfork, MT. On November 12, 1938 she married Donald E. Kuhlman who preceded her in death on December 17, 2007. Freda was an assistant cashier for the Bank of Elmore retiring after 16 years. She was a member of St. Paul's Trinity United Methodist Church in Elmore, OH where she was involved with the Women's Society. She enjoyed playing bridge, crocheting, cooking, growing violets and emailing friends and relatives. Survivors include her daughters: Janet (Bruce) Gregory of Elmore, Joan (Thomas) Klopfenstein of Battle Creek, MI, and Jean Holcombe of Genoa; grandchildren: Lynn (Darryl) Crow, Hal (Mary) Gregory, Lee Ann (Newton) Horst, Kristen (David) VanderHorn, Sharon (Rob) Christman, Tim (Denise) Holcombe; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, brothers: Phil, Harold, Mel, Walt and Glen Peterson; and sisters: Marie Day, Lillian Pool, and Dorothy Fishbaugh. Funeral Services will begin at 11:30am Saturday, July 6, 2013 with the family to receive friends Saturday beginning at 10am at the Crosser Funeral Home, Elmore- Genoa Chapel. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Elmore, OH. Memorial Contributions may be made to either Hospice of Northwest Ohio or St. Paul Trinity United Methodist Church.
