Francisco A. Guerra, Sr.

Francisco A. "Frank" Guerra, Sr. 91, of Port Clinton, OH passed away April 22, 2017 in Green Vlley, AZ where he felt close to his wife of 64 years. He was a loving son, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Those who knew him can say he was a caring man who loved to laugh and joke around. He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians and Browns. Frank also enjoyed eating out with his family and you could count on him having chili peppers in his shirt pocket to enjoy with his meals and to share with others. We will miss Dad and Grandpa and you will forever be in our hearts. Frank was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton and he worked as a machinist for Port Clinton Manufacturing. Surviving are his ten children: Francisco "Sam" (Pam) Guerra, Mary (Jeff Adams) Hurley, Hilaria Rios, Rebecca (Larry) Gonzales, Raul (Paula) Guerra, Anjelica (Scott) Gresser, Rene (Sheryl) Guerra, Jesse Guerra and Anita (David) Lange. He and his wife Hope helped raise 26 grandchildren and had the pleasure of enjoying 32 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents: Ynocencio and Consuela (Alvarez) Guerra; wife: Esperanza "Hope" Guerra; daughter: Connie Flynn; sisters: Estella Guerra and Dolores Lopez. Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Monday, May 1, 2017 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, where prayers will be recited at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 404 Madison St. Port Clinton. Interment will follow at Christy Chapel Cemetery, Portage Township. Memorial contributions maybe made to Heartland Hospice, 907 W. State St. Fremont, OH 43420.
