Floyd Carl Meador

Floyd Carl Meador, 49, of Port Clinton Ohio died Saturday, May 11, 2013 at his residence. He was born on July 17, 1963 in Peterstown, West Virginia, the son of Kenneth and Marie (Grimmett) Meador. He was a member of Port Clinton Baptist Church. He enjoyed collecting coins, playing chess, helping people in need, and being skilled as a handyman, always fixing things for friends and neighbors. Survivors include his step-father and mother: Rick and Marie Meacham, Port Clinton; sisters: Ruth (Lowell) Meacham, Port Clinton; Nancy (David) Young, Port Clinton; and brother: Quilla (Tracy) Meador, Martinsville, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his father: Kenneth. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton on Thursday, May 16, 2013 from 1pm until a Memorial Service at 2pm with Pastor Peter Dodd officiating.
