Florence Virginia Mischler

Florence V. "Virginia" Mischler, 92, of Lakeside died Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Stein Hospice, Sandusky, OH. She was born July 24, 1918 in Barberton, OH. The daughter of the late William A. and Lulu (Ludwig) Winters. She married Elmer F. Mischler on September 7, 1936, and he preceded her in death on December 23, 1970. Mrs. Mischler was previously a nurse at the Sandusky area hospitals and then in High Point, North Carolina. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Danbury and a member of the Order of Easter Stars. Surviving are her son: Robert C. (Barbara "Barbie") Mischler of Marblehead; grandchildren: Shelly M. Meneses of Harlington, TX, David B. (Heather) Mischler of Marblehead, OH; great-grandchildren: Kendra Meneses, Marc Meneses both of Harlington, TX, Joshua Mischler, Jacob Mischler both of Marblehead, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brothers: William "Bill" Winters, Harold Winters and Robert Winters. Funeral services will be conducted 12:30 pm Sunday, January 2, 2011 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Danbury. Visitation will be held Saturday from 5:00 7:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, LakesideMarblehead, OH. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
