Evelyn Bauser

Evelyn M. Bauser, 91, of Port Clinton, died Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at her residence. She was born January 29, 1921 in Port Clinton, the daughter of Horace and Dorothy (Goode) Runion. She married Charles Bauser on Feb. 8, 1942 and he preceded her in death on Dec. 24, 1999. She worked as a book keeper for Sorensen's Market, Burkowitz Ford Dealership and A. T. Emmett. She was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Port Clinton and the Port Clinton American Legion Auxiliary. She was an avid bowler, golfer and reader. Surviving are her daughter: Diane (Finley) Barfield of Fairborn, OH; sisters: Janet Charline Karul of Port Clinton, Virginia Marcinek of Lakeland, FL and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles and sister: Thelma Maxine Hudec. Funeral services will be conducted 1:30 pm Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton, OH where visitation will be held Saturday from 12:30 pm until the time of the service. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Thomas Episcopal Church or Ida Rupp Public Library.
