Escom Brown

Escom Brown, 88, of Sandusky, OH, and formerly of Port Clinton, died Sunday, March 5, 2006 at the Erie County Care Facility in Sandusky. He was born November 15, 1917 in Lomansville, Kentucky, a son of David and Stella Brown. Mr. Brown was a custodian for the Port Clinton City Schools retiring on December 31, 1980. Surviving are his sons, Roger (Lori) Brown of Sandusky, and James of Chillicothe; daughter Lois Miller of Toledo; sister Ethel Pendleton of Columbus; 4 Grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis; son, R. David; brothers, Estill, Herbert and Hershel, and sisters Lola, Dorothy, Hazel, and Louise. The family will receive friends from 7-9 pm Wednesday at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton, where funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday. Rev. James Lehman will officiate, and interment will be in Riverview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
