Ernest W. Hurst

Ernest W. Hurst, 64, of Port Clinton passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022 at his home. He was born January 4, 1958 the son of Floyd and Mary (Wallen) Hurst. He previously worked construction with Hurst Builders. He enjoyed collecting antiques and S.C.R.A.P. Surviving are his son: Joshua (Christina) Hurst of Port Clinton; grandchildren: Kylie Hurst, Hailey Firkus, Aliyah Hurst, Caitlyn Hurst, Joshua Hurst, Jr., Gabriella Hurst, Grayson Neff, Marrie Doolin, Lexi Doolin, Chandler Chasteen, Marleta Chasteen, Blake Doolin; great-grandchildren: Daxton and Lainie; sister: Ruby Radloff of Port Clinton; brothers: Leonard Hurst of Marblehead, Jim Hurst of Church Hill, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Ralph Hurst. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd. Lakeside-Marblehead, OH with visitation from 9:00 am until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Sackett Cemetery, Danbury Township. Memorial contributions may be given to the family.
