Emily E. I. Krouse

Emily E. I. Krouse, 97, of Toledo, OH, and formerly of Elmore, OH, and Graytown, OH, died Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at the Franciscan Care Center. She was born in Upper Clapton, London, U.K. on July 13, 1910, a daughter of the late George W. Allandale-Ellis and Bessie I. (Harding) Ellis. She came to the United States in 1948. Emily was a homemaker and was the widow of Emery C. Krouse, who preceded her in death on February 6, 1984. She is survived by her nephew, David (Tracy) Seeger; nieces, Melanie (Donald) Leaver, and Carol Price; great nephews, Anthony Seeger, Jonathon Seeger, Michael Leaver, and Andrew Leaver; great nieces, Nicole Leaver, Jane Walker, and Denise Price; and great-great nephews, Brennen Leaver, and Adam Walker. She was also preceded in death by her brother, William Ellis, and sisters, Bessie M. Ellis and Bridgette P. Seeger Conrad. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Friday at St. Joan of Arc Church, 5856 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, where the family will receive friends after 10:00 A.M. Friday. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Toledo.
