Emilio E. Chavez, 30 of Woodville, OH died Sunday, June 30, 2024 in Gibsonburg, OH due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born November 18, 1993 in Oregon, OH to Robert and Monica (Gonzales) Chavez. Emilio was a 2012 graduate of Woodmore High School and was employed as an Operating Engineer for Local #18 out of Toledo. Prior to moving to Woodville, Emilio served on the Harris-Elmore Fire Department.
Emilio had many joys in life and lived his life to the fullest. He was a man of solutions and gladly gave his time to helping with any project, whether that was helping someone with their car, helping to build something, or setting of firework displays for everyone to “oohh” and “aahh”. If you didn’t find him at social gatherings, you could find him at a toy show, looking at old farm equipment, riding his motorcycle, or spending time with his family at “The Farm”. His passion in life was his family, and spoiling his nephew to no end. A knack for conversation and a heart big enough for all, making relationships was easy for him. His loud boisterous tone, his contagious laugh, and his big ‘ole smile made impressions to last. Dependable, loyal, and helpful; you could count on Emilio at every turn. His philosophy in life was simple: live it to the fullest, do it all, be it all, and never have a regret. Emilio lived his life “ready”; truly ready for anything.
Emilio is survived by his loving parents, Robert & Monica Chavez; sisters: Hope (Dave) Gutierrez and Grace Chavez all of Elmore, OH; brother Leonel Macias of San Antonio, TX; brother-in-life Carlos Ramirez of Gibsonburg, OH and extra special nephew “Baby D”.
