Elva B. Fritz

Elva B. Fritz, 82, of Port Clinton died Saturday, June 04, 2011 at her residence. She was born January 7, 1929 in Kalamazoo, MI the daughter of Rev. Lawrence D. and Elcho (Bonn) Reynolds. She married John Fritz on January 7, 1950 and he survives. Mrs. Fritz graduated from Port Clinton High School and Bowling Green State University. She worked for the Port Clinton City Schools for 24 years retiring in 1986. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton, the School Employees Retirement Organization, Mothers Round Table, Ottawa County Democratic Club and Port Clinton Elks Ladies. Surviving are her husband: John Fritz; son: Jeffrey (Sandra Jean) Fritz of Jupiter, FL; daughter: Tamara (Paul) Anderson of Port Clinton; grandsons: Phillip Anderson and Patrick Fritz. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister: Gladys Disher. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10:00 am Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton where visitation will be held Tuesday from 9:00 until the time of the mass. Father John Missler will be officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to Stein Hospice or Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
