Elsie Hodel

Our beloved mother Elsie Hodel, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 22, 2008. Elsie was born November 17, 1911 in Ann Arbor, MI to the late Harry and Etta (Roseboom) Oliver and she was preceded in death by her husband Melvin on April 27, 1973. Surviving are her two sons: Keith (Jean) Hodel of Sebastion, FL, Lowell (Becky) Hodel of Winston-Salem, NC; two daughters: Sandra (Richard) Meyers of Kissimmee, FL, Marilyn (Gary) Shiets of Catawba Island; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; special niece Nadine Ankney of Charlotte, MI; special angel Michael and her extended familyher girls at Jean Baker House, Otterbein Northshore Retirement Village. There will be no services. Burial will be in Catawba Island Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Stein Hospice, Sandusky, OH, Marblehead Vol. Fire Dept. or Lakeside Vol. Fire Dept.
