Elsie E. Stagner

Elsie E. Stagner, 92, of Phoenix, AZ, and formerly of Elmore, OH died Thursday, September 13, 2007 at Phoenix Baptist Hospital. She was born August 21, 1915 in Elmore, OH to the late Fred and Emma (Gleckler) Kardatzke. She was a 1933 graduate of Harris- Elmore High School. She worked for the United States Government in the Agency for International Development and retired after 16 years of service. Survivors include her son Douglas Stagner of Phoenix, daughter Patricia Harger of Salem, OR., and grandchildren: Nick and Andrew Harger and Carl and Catherine Stagner. She was preceded in death by brothers: Harris, Forrest, Carl, Arlin, and Elmer Kardatzke; and sisters: Lucille Webert, Marian Gottke, and Verda Stackhouse. Funeral Services will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, September 22, 2007 at the Elmore Church of God with Rev. Tom Willhardt officiating. Interment will be in Harris-Elmore Union Cemetery, Elmore, OH. Memorial Contributions may be made to Elmore Church of God Building Fund. Crosser Funeral Home, Elmore, is handling arrangements for the family.
