Elizabeth A. Prezy

Elizabeth A. Prezy, 82, of Put-in-Bay, Ohio died Friday, August 27, 2010 at the University of Toledo Medical Center, Toledo, Ohio. She was born on December 21, 1927, at Put-in-Bay, the daughter of the late Anthony and Elizabeth (Cucchi) Traverso. She was a homemaker, and was a member of Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, Put-in-Bay. Survivors include her brothers: Raymond Traverso, of Put-in-Bay; Arthur (Mary) Traverso, of Berea, Ohio; sister: Barbara (Louis) Heineman, of Put-in-Bay; sister-in-law: Marge Traverso, of San Jose, California; and seven nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond Prezy who died in 1996; and brothers: Valerin, Edward, and Norman Traverso; and sister: Mercedes Traverso. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 30, 2010 from 10-11am at Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, Put-in-Bay, until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Interment will follow at Mapleleaf Cemetery, Put-in-Bay. Memorial contributions may be made to Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, Put-in-Bay.
