Eleanore M. Gast

Eleanore M. Gast, 92 of Oak Harbor, OH died Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. She was born March 14, 1929 in Cleveland, OH to the late Thomas and Ethel (Kocha) Walsh. She was a graduate of James Ford Rhodes High School, Cleveland. Eleanore worked as an executive secretary for the Cadillac Tank Plant in Cleveland before becoming a homemaker. She enjoyed playing cards with friends and dancing. Survivors include her children James Hoenig of Cleveland, OH and Joi Montano of Oak Harbor, OH; grandchildren: Justin Montano and Janelle Montano. She was preceded in death by her twin sister Ethel, sister Dorothy, brother Tom, son-in-law Louis Montano, and grandson Josh Montano. There will be no services as cremation has taken place under the care of the Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor.
