Eleanore J. Rudolph

Eleanore J. Rudolph, aka "Ms. Ellie", 89, of Marblehead Ohio and formerly of Cleveland and Parma Heights Ohio, died Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky, Ohio. She was born on December 12, 1921 in Cleveland, the daughter of the late Otto and Pauline (Kenat) Will. On May 23, 1942, she married Joseph E. Rudolph and he preceded her in death on August 14, 1991. Eleanore was the administrative secretary at North Hills High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania until her retirement in 1981. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marblehead where she volunteered to help count the collection after weekend masses. She also volunteered at the Danbury Senior Center for the past 19 years. She was an avid animal lover, and enjoyed crocheting, reading, working on crossword and jigsaw puzzles, and watching "The Price is Right". Survivors include her daughter: Cheryl (Leo Jr.) Janik, Marblehead; sons: Gary (Sally) Rudolph, Medina, Ohio; James (Denise) Rudolph, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Joe (Laura) Rudolph, Marblehead, Ohio; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 16, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 7755 E. Harbor Road, Lakeside-Marblehead, Ohio. Additional visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 from 10am until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 Barclay Street, Marblehead, with Father James K. Say, officiating. Private family graveside services will be held at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery, Cleveland, Ohio on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice or to the Danbury Senior Center.
