Eleanor M. Chura

Eleanor M. Chura, 91, of Marblehead, OH passed away Wednesday, October

5, 2022. She was born March 21, 1931 in Marblehead, OH the daughter

of Michael and Mary (Kopchock) Kopchak, Sr. She graduated from High

School in Marblehead in 1949. She married Peter Chura September 8,

1956 and he preceded her in death on November 16, 1990. She was a

member of St. Mary Byzantine Church in Marblehead, OH where she

volunteered at bingo and was active in the Ladies Aid.

Surviving are her daughter: Helen (Mike) Pasqualini of Sandusky; sons:

Paul Chura of Marblehead, OH, Richard (Lisa) Chura of Port Clinton;

grandchildren: Dustin (Jamie) Chura, Michael Chura, Jennifer (Anthony)

Ciacelli, Sara (Brent) Hunter; great-grandchildren: Charlotte Chura,

Anthony Ciacelli, Adelynn Ciacelli and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Peter;

siblings: Michael Jr., John, Andrew, Frank, Steve, Mary, Anna,

Lillian, Margaret, Helen and Grace.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 – 6:00 pm Sunday, October 9, 2022 at

Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service,

Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd. Lakeside-Marblehead, OH.

Panachida services will be held in the funeral home Sunday at 5:30pm.

Divine Liturgy with Father Joseph Repko will be 10:00 am Monday,

October 10, 2022 at St. Mary Byzantine Church, 506 E. Main St.

Marblehead, OH with interment in St. Mary Byzantine Cemetery. Memorial

contributions may be given to St. Mary Byzantine Church. Online
