Elaine M. Otte

Elaine M. Otte, 86, of Elmore, OH died Thursday, October 5, 2006 at H.B. Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton, OH. She was born October 1, 1920 in Chicago, IL to the late Walter and Ruth (Carlson) Anderson. She was a graduate of Libbey High School, Toledo. On March 28, 1942 she married Donald F. Otte who preceded her in death on September 15, 1989. Mrs. Otte was a loving wife and devoted mother, living the life of a farmer’s wife. She was a member of the Elmore Church of God, Local Farm Bureau Council, Home Arts Club in Elmore, served the Church as a Sunday School Teacher, Pianist, and Organist. She especially enjoyed the “Golden Oldies” lunch group here in Elmore. Survivors include her son, Ward Otte of Elmore, daughters: Mardel McKay of Middletown, IN, Janice Sprinkles of South Lyon, MI, Judi Hall of Alexandria, IN; brother, Don Anderson of Toledo; sister, Doris Anderson of Brooklyn, MI; 9 grandchildren, and 12 great- grandchildren. Friends may call Sunday from 2-9 P.M. at the Crosser Funeral Home, Elmore, OH, where the family will be present from 2-4 & 6-9 P.M. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 9, 2006 at the Elmore Church of God, with the Rev. Tom Willhardt officiating. Interment will be in Clay Township Cemetery, Genoa, OH.
