Elaine M. Mackey

Elaine M. Mackey, 80, of Port Clinton, OH passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Edgewood Manor Rehab and Healthcare Center, Port Clinton, OH. She was born March 14, 1944 in Fremont, OH the daughter of Del and Alma (House) Fisher. She was a 1962 graduate of St. Joseph Central Catholic High School in Fremont. She married Brenten T. Mackey on December 12, 1980 and he preceded her in death on April 30, 2020. Elaine worked for ECI in Port Clinton and was a longtime employee of the Port Clinton McDonalds. She previously was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Fremont, OH. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, doing crossword puzzles, going to garage sales and auctions and she loved animals.

Surviving are her children: Annette Kluck of Fremont, Kelly (Kirt) Loose of Fremont, David (Jennifer) Fisher of Oak Harbor; grandchildren: Christopher (Alyssa) Loose, Corrine Loose, Celina (Michael Edwards) Loose, Megan Cooks, Logan Fisher, Jacob Flores, Amber Smith, Alexis Reau; great-grandchildren: Sabrina Daniels, Saebra Cooks, Marcus Cooks, Nieko Cooks, Kiaya Smith, Ashlynn Reau, Rylee Bartlett, Rowan Edwards, Liara Edwards, Ethan Youngbar, Carmen Orosco and Elijah Loose; sister: Elizabeth Key of Parma, OH ; brother: Sylvan Fisher of Fremont, OH. She was preceded in death by her husband: Brenten and brothers: Vincent Fisher, Michael Fisher and William Fisher.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, October 4, 2024 in the funeral home with Fr. Jonathon Wight officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH.
